Akhil Reed Amar is one of the most storied and influential professors at Yale Law School and one of the world’s leading experts on the U.S. Constitution. He is the author of more than a hundred law review articles and several books, most notably The Bill of Rights, America’s Constitution, America’s Unwritten Constitution, and The Constitution Today. He joins us in Sonoma to discuss his latest and most ambitious book, The Words That Made Us: America’s Constitutional Conversation, 1760-1840.
