As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we could not bring you the annual Sonoma Valley Authors Festival, Students Day, and Authors on the Plaza events without your contributions. Thank you!

We would be honored to have your help in bringing the Sonoma Valley Author Festival to Sonoma! There are several ways for you to contribute.

As a Sonoma Valley Authors Festival Sponsor, your generosity will significantly help support the Festival and the Sonoma Valley Community. Our sponsors enjoy special benefits during the Festival as well as invitations to exclusive events throughout the year. A portion of each sponsorship is tax-deductible.

Attend and support the Festival through our sponsorship opportunities.

Donations to the Sonoma Valley Authors Festival directly benefit the Sonoma Valley community and students, as well as help us cover the costs of producing the Festival. Our mission is to stimulate the minds and nurture the souls of readers of all ages. In addition to the main 3-day Festival, our Students Day program invites thousands of Sonoma Valley students to explore thought-provoking ideas as they personally engage with some of today’s most extraordinary writers. Every dollar counts as we work to cover costs such as speaker fees, author arrangements, transportation, hosted meals, event communications, registration and event support, and more. 

Donate from a Donor Advised Fund

Donations, as well as the tax-deductible portion of a sponsorship, may be paid by using your donor-advised funds.

Goods and services, or the non-tax-deductible portion of your sponsorship may NOT be paid using your donor-advised funds; that portion must be paid using a credit card or personal check. Call our office at (707) 282-9028 or email us at admin@svauthorsfest.org and we will process your sponsorship payment that involves a donor-advised fund.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts

A memorial gift can help perpetuate the values and ideals that guided a loved one’s life. Donations may honor a person during their lifetime or commemorate a significant event. Families of those honored will be sent notification of the donor’s gift.

In most instances, highly appreciated assets such as securities are deductible at their current fair market value. Transferring securities is easy.
