The only way to see the Fourth Sonoma Valley Authors Festival — and the only way to make the most that the Sonoma Valley has to offer in late summer — is to stay the weekend! 

This year, we hope you’ll join us for three fabulous days, Friday, August 27-Sunday, August 30, at The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn.  

Due to increased demand, and in response to the ongoing loosening COVID-19 restrictions in Sonoma Valley and across the Bay Area, we’re already accepting requests for Three-Day-Festival passes. (The Three-Day-Pass is the only way to take part in the Sonoma Valley Authors Festival.)

Capacity for this year’s event is again limited to 450 attendees, each of whom will be invited to take part in the full three-day schedule of live Sonoma Valley Authors Festival events. 

For the first time, Festival attendees will also receive exclusive complimentary access to the full Festival video archive when the Festival is over.

Regarding Covid

Out of respect to our authors, guests, volunteers, vendors, and hotel staff, all attendees will be required to submit documentation that they have received a full COVID-19 vaccination prior to attending the Festival.  We will contact attendees in early summer with instructions on how to deliver the requested proof.  For attendees with objections to vaccinations, we will accept evidence of a negative PCR test (not rapid test), taken not more than 96 hours before arriving at the Festival, to be delivered prior to arrival.
